MONDAY

Complete the following activity:

  • Go to your assigned classroom and take at least ten photos of teachers and students

  • UPLOAD YOUR PHOTOS TO THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL/FIRST DAY OF SEMESTER ALBUM ON THE FACEBOOK GROUP PHOTOS PAGE

Complete each of the tasks on the first day:

  • Create a Facebook account and request to follow the SBP - 2023-2024 - Photos group

    • Grade depends on joining the photos group​

  • Create a Wix account if you do not already have one

    • Choose CV/Portfolio

    • Blank Templates

    • Start from Scratch

    • ​If you already have a an ePortfolio from Computer Apps, all you will need to do at this time is add another page and title it "Photography"

    • Set up a blank page for a landing page (you will need this blank page if you take Computer Apps) and name it "ePortfolio"​

    • create a second blank page and name this page "Photography"

TUESDAY

Set up your online portfolio​

  • Create nine pages in addition to your homepage

    • portraits

    • candids

      • dorm/home life

      • school

      • around town

      • other reflective surfaces

    • landscape

    • nature

    • angles

    • black and white

    • creative

      • Andy Warhol

      • long exposure

      • multiple exposure

      • Photoshopped

  • Use thumbnails, sliders, galleries, or various types of scrolling that you would like - look at other people's photo portfolios for ideas

  • Use an appropriate background, text font (no Comic Sans), text size, and text color

  • Include a menu if needed

  • Make it user-friendly

  • Due the last Friday before exams

WEDNESDAY

Watch the videos

  • As you watch the videos, take note of any effects that you would like to try in the next two days (write down the idea or the timestamp from the video)

THURSDAY-FRIDAY

Complete the following activity:

  • Use the props, items inside the classroom, or your own items to shoot creative photographs

    • ADD YOUR THREE BEST CREATIVE PHOTOS TO YOUR ALBUM ON THE FACEBOOK PHOTOS GROUP
